A/W 23 - Κόκαλα Λουλουδένια - Boned Flowers
The first collection since the departure of six years of shared creation at Kepler London. In crafting this collection I returned to seeking renewal through Greek mythology and in the quiet wisdom of nature. Each sample and garment was developed as an intuitive study of trees textures and structures.
At a time that felt that my process had been lost, I found restoration and revival in repetitive knotting and domestic machine knitting while studying natural curves through analog coding.
By joining industrial knitted panels made in the last remaining knit manufacture based in Cyprus with natural yarns from obsolete factories from the UK, this amalgamation felt the most relevant and honest expression.
